Palahalli is a sleepy village on the outskirts of Mysore. The non descript village is just 8 kms away from the ring road  manipal hospital junction. It is only one Km away from Bird Sanctuary known as Ranganathitu. Srirangapatna is 4 kms, famous  K. R. S. Gardens 10 kms. Palahalli is an island. The river Cauveri flows adjacent to the village and perennial channels are there.Throughout the year greenery is visible, covered with lush paddy fields. Bangalore expressway is only one km.
